This new version is an alternative version of the famous Air Jordan 5 Grape introduced in 1990. The pair is notably known for being the only OG colorway that Michael Jordan did not wear on the floors of the NBA. It has also inspired numerous iterations such as the Air Jordan 5 Midnight Navy “Pre-Grape” and the Air Jordan 5 NRG Fresh Prince. The newcomer has a purple suede upper and overlays with black details such as eyelets and laces. We then discover some turquoise accents, like the Jumpman on the tongue, the lace-lock or the speckle effect affixed to the midsole. A two-color midsole inspired by P-40 fighter jets and an icy outsole finalize the design of Tinker Hatfield. The Jordan 5 Retro Alternate Grape should release on July,7 2020 at a retail price of about 190€.
